There are at least seventeen different segmentation variables discussed in your text such as density of population, income, benefits sought, etc. 2. Which target marketing approach (undifferentiated, differentiated, concentrated, etc.) is the organization currently using? 3. How is the organization currently positioned? What sources of differentiation does the organization currently use? 4. Describe the current brand equity of the organization? Discuss any other branding decisions (chapter 9) that are relevant. 5. Based on what you have learned so far in the course, what does the organization need to do differently in regards to targeting marketing, positioning or brand equity? Explain your answer. With Love, Cammy LLC is a very broad organization with many different target audience segments. Age segmentation is one of the target markets that must be considered when creating a marketing plan for the music specifically. This is because with R&B music, some of the verbiage can be less appropriate for children, which brings me to generational group as some of the older generations may not prefer to hear this type of music. With music, the gender must be considered because you want something that everyone will enjoy listening to and how it can appeal to all genders. I would also argue that even psychographic segmentation must be considered, because we want people to be able to relate to the music with their lifestyles/desires.
